With the pairing of Salim-Javed they give some of the iconic films to the Indian audience like Andaz, Seeta Aur Geeta, and many more. For the television he directed a family drama named Buniyad, 1987. He was born on 23 rd Jan, 1947 at Karachi now Pakistan. Completed his education in London School of Economics, and returned to assist his father G.P.Sippy for several years. His wife is Kiran Juneja and has two children.
